My little elves hard at work sanding
I bought this bookcase for a few dollars at a garage sale several months ago, and finally got the gumption to paint it! It is to go in my son's room, he is a Transformers nut, so of course you can guess the theme he chose.
Still hard at work!
They did the hard part, I got to have the fun part.
Actually, we all had fun! I printed out the Transformers lettering and transfered it onto the bookcase using transfer paper. Then I hand painted the lettering and gradated red and yellow to look like flames.
I drew the flames by hand then painted them in. FUN!
My son was very specific in how he wanted his bookcase painted, he is a very particular customer! Luckily for me, he was more than satisfied :). The best part was that we all did it together!

Hi Pretty Kitty, thank you for the comment.
Darling bookcase, so cute to see your sweeties helping with the painting project.
Cool that you have Vinca planted everywhere. Have you ever made a tea from the Vinca flowers? I love Periwinkle Blue too.
You're always in my thoughts & prayers.
Hugs & Purrrs,
Lyndy
