My little elves hard at work sandingI bought this bookcase for a few dollars at a garage sale several months ago, and finally got the gumption to paint it! It is to go in my son's room, he is a Transformers nut, so of course you can guess the theme he chose.
Still hard at work!
They did the hard part, I got to have the fun part.Actually, we all had fun! I printed out the Transformers lettering and transfered it onto the bookcase using transfer paper. Then I hand painted the lettering and gradated red and yellow to look like flames.
I drew the flames by hand then painted them in. FUN!
My son was very specific in how he wanted his bookcase painted, he is a very particular customer! Luckily for me, he was more than satisfied :). The best part was that we all did it together!
