Wildlife Rescue

This poor little Yellow Rumped Warbler flew into our French door a short while ago.
I didn't want to frighten him, but I did roll him gently back onto his feet, as he was struggling on his back. Here he is still quite dazed.. but appears to be recovering.

A bit better.. not quite so shaky.

Just about back to his old self

Ready to fly!!
He took off just a minute or so after I took this picture. First he landed on our window sill, then flew to our oak tree. A happy ending for this little yellow rumped beauty!!

Such a tiny little fellow and lucky that he had someone to rescue him. Somehow I can see his image working its way into your creations.
Love the crossover cone too!

Hi Kitty, glad this had a happy ending too! Great photo's of this lucky sweet fine feathered friend. You should send them (with dissertation) to your local newspaper or enter a photo contest...

He almost seems to be posing for the camera in the last pic! But I'm sure he was quite ready to fly away from the paparazzi.:)
